Smart Drug Use

Based on correct diagnosis,

Taking into account individual differences, the appropriate drug is given by the appropriate route, in the appropriate dose and duration,

Treatment success and patient compliance are evaluated,

Undesirable side effects and drug interactions that occur during drug use are evaluated and reported,

Appropriate selection is made taking into account the feasibility and cost of alternative treatment options,

Our aim is to provide an understanding that optimally balances patient needs and the use of limited resources to all our staff and patients, especially our healthcare professionals, through training and visual tools and to raise awareness.

Our Recommendations to Patients on Smart Drug Use

Inform your doctor and pharmacist about the medications you are using and the medications you have recently used.

Use your medications only in accordance with your doctor’s advice and your pharmacist’s warning.

Learn exactly how to use medications, in what dosage, at what frequency, for how long, and under what conditions they will be stored, and use them completely.

Your medicine; without asking your doctor or pharmacist; Do not use by chewing, breaking, dividing or dissolving in water.

Remember that all medications may have undesirable effects as well as desired effects. If you experience any unexpected effects when you start using the medicine, inform your pharmacist and doctor.

Consult your physician and pharmacist before using any products such as any medicine, vitamin, non-pharmaceutical food supplement, herbal product.

If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant and are breastfeeding, if you have a long-standing disease, if you have special conditions such as food or drug allergies, be sure to inform your doctor and pharmacist.

Do not use medicine on the advice of others and do not give advice to others.

Even if you feel better, do not interrupt the use of medication (especially antibiotics).
